These videos will show you the absolute simplest and easiest way to slam a Type 1 VW. The bug is going pretty low now, (even a little lower than showed in this video,) but I do not have a narrowed beam. I also have no welded in adjusters. Also these are not stock 4.5" wheels; these are 5.5” all around. I also do not drop spindles, yet. Once we do the drop spindles or do a pie cut, it should lay the front beam on the ground. In this video, we installed the Monroe Air Spring Shocks on the Rear as well as trimmed the Trailing Arms to remove the Spring Plates on the ‘77 Standard Beetle. We installed Monroe MA756 Max-Air Adjust Shock Absorbers on the Front and MA803 Max-Air Adjust Shock Absorbers on the Rear to have air ride adjustability. I love it! This thing drives just like it did when it was stock when its aired up to about 110psi all the way around. Video for the Air Lift compressor kit is coming up next!
