Beating Retreat by the Massed Pipes and Drums of the Scottish Schools' CCFs

On Wednesday 23rd May 2012 the Massed Pipes and Drums of the Scottish Schools' Combined Cadet Forces Beat Retreat on the Below Fields of Fettes College. This event, which is usually staged on the Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, took place at the College owing to delayed work on the Edinburgh Military Tattoo stands. Fine weather brought out a good crowd of spectators to see a fine performance by these young pipers, drummers and dancers coming together from 11 different schools.
