Moo Krata - Moo = pork / Krata = pan Moo Krata = grilled pork on a pan or Thai barbecue. Moo Krata is now a very popular food in Thailand. We usually eat with a group of friends. You can cook and eat at home, or order from a restaurant and eat at home, or eat at a restaurant if you want more convenience. For me, I like to eat Moo Krata at my friend’s house. We go shopping together and we buy some vegetables, pork, mixtures, etc. and cook together by ourselves. It’s more fun. We really like Moo Krata but we don’t eat so often. Just once a month or just when my friends and I are free at the same day mostly on holidays and weekends . We can eat with friends and also families. Moo Krata doesn’t have only pork. We can pick other kinds of meat that we like such as seafood, fish balls, sausages, beef, chicken, or whatever we like but the thing is you must grill those meats so it will be called as Moo Krata. If you cook it by boiling, it will be called as Suki. The highlight of delicious Moo Krata is sauce. Thailand has so many kinds of sauce so make sure you get the sauce that is for Moo Krata. Another things, most restaurant that sell Moo Krata, they sell as buffet. Only a few restaurant sell as a set. And in Thailand buffet doesn’t really mean self service. It means you can eat as much as you want.
