The Interceptor 650 is a modern classic, but it comes with a bit of "extra" hardware from the factory. In this video, I’m stripping down the rear end by removing the bulky saree guard and the stock mudguard to give it that clean, retro twin silhouette it deserves. Why do this? Aside from the massive weight savings (okay, maybe just a few kilos), it completely changes the stance of the bike and makes the rear tire pop. It’s the easiest DIY mod you can do at home with basic tools.
