In Subhash Nagar, Delhi, 25-year-old delivery executive Hemshankar lost his life after a speeding Hyundai Verna allegedly driven by a drunk driver hit his scooter at around 4:30 AM on February 21. Police have arrested 27-year-old Mohit Kumar from Najafgarh and seized the vehicle. The FIR states his blood alcohol level was 76.8 mg/100ml, and several traffic challans were pending against the car. Eyewitnesses and co-workers demand strict action. In separate incidents, five people were injured in Shakarpur, and a 23-year-old man died in Dwarka after being hit by a vehicle allegedly driven by a minor.
