At least 16 structures including homes have been destroyed in Gellibrand as an out-of-control bushfire ravaged the Otways region. A sudden wind change and temperatures above 40 degrees caused the blaze to jump the main road, spreading into bushland and damaging the water treatment facility, impacting local water supply.
