Good morning, Women of Faith Today in our Women of Faith Resource Network morning meeting, we continued our powerful journey through The Deborah Anointing by Michelle McClain-Walters, diving into Chapter 6: Deborah the Prophetess. We began with Amos 3:7: “Surely the Lord God does nothing without revealing His purpose to His servants the prophets.” This chapter reminds us that God is intentional. He does not move in the earth without first releasing revelation. When there is a set time for His purpose to be established, He raises up a prophetic voice. The Set Time for a Prophetic Voice Whenever God has a set time to release His purpose on the earth, He will raise up a prophetic voice. Deborah arose in a time of oppression. Her announcement that Sisera would be destroyed and that deliverance would come through a woman was not just bold, it was a prophetic proclamation of God asserting His power over the enemy that oppressed His people. Deborah did not speak emotionally. She spoke legislatively. She spoke with heaven’s authority. The Two Main Dimensions of the Deborah Anointing: The Spirit of Counsel: Wisdom to govern, guide, and render righteous judgment. The Spirit of Might: Courage and divine strength to execute God’s strategy. Deborah operated in both. She was not only prophetic, she was also governmental. We also discussed an important distinction: • The Prophetic gift (1 Corinthians 14:3) is available to all believers for edification, exhortation, and comfort. • The Office of the Prophet (Ephesians 4:11) is a five-fold, ordained governmental role that shapes direction, carries authority, and holds greater accountability. The gift is what you do. The Office is who you are. Women of God, this chapter challenges us to ask: • What has God revealed to me in this season? • Is this my set time to arise? • Am I cultivating counsel and courage? Deborah understood her role as both Prophet and Judge, hearing from God and governing with clarity. In this hour, God is still raising women who will discern the times and speak with precision. If you desire a deeper understanding of the Deborah Anointing and how it applies to your life, we invite you to join us on our Wednesday “Hello Eve” call as we continue this study together.
