Cannabis Benchmarks U.S. Spot Index Report for August 15, 2025 The U.S. Spot Index decreased by 0.5% to $1,093 per pound this week. We are pleased to announce the introduction of our Missouri Cannabis Spot Index to our readers this week. The Missouri composite price assessment closed the week at $2,232 per pound this week, a 7.7%, or $72 increase from last week, and the highest it has been since June 27th. We are also pleased to announce the introduction of our Ohio Cannabis Spot Index to our readers this week. The Ohio composite price assessment closed the week at $2,457 per pound, a 4.1%, or $96 rise from last week and the 4th straight week of gains for the state index. Despite decreases across all grow types, the New York Cannabis Spot Index increased by 9.4% per pound this week. The state index was able to climb due to a reduction in the number of transactions for greenhouse and outdoor flower products, while the number of higher priced indoor flower product transactions increased.
