Here, I am showing inquiring Viewers my WeWALK Smart Cane One along with the WeWALK companion App, which I've owned since Year 2021. I will also compare some of the WeWALK Smart Cane functions and differences between Smart Cane One and Smart Cane Two. I will also give my impression of the investment. The Smart Cane is an electronic mobility aid device that fits as a handle on white canes or walking sticks designed to assist blind, visually impaired, and low vision individuals to enhance safety and navigation. The Smart Cane combines the functionality of a traditional white cane or walking stick with advanced technology by typically enabling obstacle detection between a person’s knee height to their head height, using sonic waves, ultrasonic technology, sensors, GPS, lidar, connectivity and Bluetooth features to identify obstacles at various heights, including ground level, chest level, and head level, providing feedback to the user to avoid collisions with objects. Some smart models similar to the WeWALK, can also detect obstacles and provide haptic feedback, as well as, offer turn-by-turn directions to help users navigate unfamiliar routes and find specific locations, and integrate with GPS and smartphone applications to offer enhanced navigation and communication. Some smart models include LED lights or flashlights for visibility and emergency alerts, enhancing safety in various environments. Additionally, they can often connect to smartphones through Bluetooth, allowing users to access features such as voice assistants, receive notifications, and more.
