In my earlier video, I explained what Print Bleed is and why it is important for machine-cutting. Here, I explain how you can add it yourself. Some reasons why you would need to add bleed to flat files you have: You are going to have it printed and cut by a print shop You are going to cut it with a Cricut or Laser Cutter You want the design to be more robust to cutting mistakes so it's less a burden on you as the cutter Skip to these parts if you want specific instructions based on the design of the cards: 00:00 - Intro 02:30 - For card designs with a solid border 04:55 - For card designs with a textured border 07:38 - For card designs with a complex design that is close to the edges For anyone who wants to make art and designs for print.
