Dad's garden handrail, Bosch GBH18V-EC 18V SDS Plus Brushless Hammer Drill drilling into red brick

I'm putting up a handrail up the side of the garage for my dad who's just come out of hospital, I'm using a Bosch GBH18V-EC 18V SDS Plus Brushless Hammer Drill & a Bosch GDX 18 V-180 Impact Driver. Screwtite screws & hinge-tite screws. I'm using brass handrail brackets because they won't rust, Painted & chrome will rust outside, stainless were a bit expensive, the mopstick handrail is softwood, it has some clear treatment on & will be painted, it'll last a few yrs.
