Floating cup technique.. with great big shmears.. This is a 20 by 20" square canvas.. acrylic paint pouring..abstract art Playing with layering the Amsterdam formula in the cup.. then smearing for the lacing effect.. Canvas was flooded with white housepaint.. just an interior latex or acrylic paint.. semi gloss.. mixed .. 3 parts paint.. 2 parts Floetrol.. and 1 part paint.as my housepaint is thick. Colours are mixed 1 part paint to 3 parts Floetrol and a bit of water as needed.. Amsterdam formula is 1 part Amsterdam black oxide.. to 4 parts Floetrol.. no water.. The floating cup technique is a simple way to create an interesting abstract piece.. I hope you enjoyed..
