As much as we all like to catch carp every time we go fishing, the reality is it doesn't happen all the time. In between the red letter sessions we all talk about, are usually a string of blanks. Very often these number a lot more than some anglers care to talk about, especially during the upcoming winter months when it gets very hard to consistently keep catching.
