Jane Doe ID'd After 25 Years! | Who Killed Keri Wyant?

Keri Lyn Wyant was a woman whose partial remains were discovered in a ditch and cornfield near Thomosboro, IL on May 1, 1995. Her remains were not identified until October 2020 when producers of a TV show known as “The Unknown Doe Project” contributed a generous donation, which led to the DNA profile that ultimately produced an identity. A DNA match to a relative in Stark County IL who had participated in one of the “genetic genealogy” tests occurred. In a shocking twist, no friends or family of Keri had ever reported her missing even though no one had seen or spoken to her in 25 years. Although her cause of death could not be determined, the Champaign County Coroner has ruled her death a homicide. Anyone who remembers anything about Ms. Wyant, and could contribute anything to the identity of friends, or acquaintances in her time in Henry and Knox counties.
