NEWTEC QC90-2 Checkweigher and Merging Conveyor System up to 80bpm

This video shows the NEWTEC QC90-2 Highspeed Checkweigher for the final checking of product in bags, punnets or boxes before palletising and distribution. This particular line is running a NEWTEC 4014XB-1 Highspeed Weigher with 2 x C-PACK VAC929 Clipping machines running 1kg Onions in Net (Mesh) Bags at up to 80ppm. The pre-pack bags from the two lines are "merged" into one line using the NEWTEC Merging Conveyor System. The NEWTEC QC90-2 Checkweigher uses an overhead QTech camera to view each pre-pack to ensure the bag is not open, that there is no loose product from any bag on the conveyor and that the bags are not sitting too closely together upon the Merging Conveyor System. If the bags are placed too closely together the QC90-2 Checkweigher with automatically space them prior to Checkweighing to ensure each bag is accurately quality controlled and checked. This system is suitable for packaged products from 500g up to 5kg in weight and is capable of running at speeds of up to 90ppm.
