Make a foundation chain of 39 chains. 2. Skip 2 chains and place 1 dc into the 3d chain. Row 1: 1 dc in each chain until 4 chains left. 1 sl st in each of 4 chains. Chain 1, turn. 3. Row 2: backloops only, 1 sl st into the 2d chain. 1 sl st in each of 3 chains (total 4 sl st). 1 dc in each stitch until the end of the row. Chain 2, turn. Repeat row by row in backloops only until you have 34 rows in total. You should have the same amount of dc stitches and slip stitches in each row: 34 dc and 4 sl st.
