RX Reader AI is an Artificial Intelligence app designed for Brazilian pharmacies that transforms handwritten prescriptions into clear, reliable, and auditable information. It combines computer vision with clinical NLP to identify the drug, dosage, and posology, assigns a confidence score, detects ambiguous abbreviations, flags ANVISA-labeled medications (Brazil’s regulatory color bands indicating drug category and restrictions), and suggests safety checks before dispensing. Why does this matter? Illegible prescriptions and incomplete notes cause delays, rework, and real patient risk.
