The Blue Hearts: Hito ni Yasashiku (Sub. ESP/ENG)

ESP: Este no es un adiós, pero sí el inicio de un hiatus indefinido en el canal (aunque siempre los ha habido, este es el primero que hago de forma consciente y determinada). Empecé a traducir música japonesa en 2017, dando mis primeros pasos en la plataforma con los openings de SZS, canciones de citypop, casi todo el soundtrack de The Pillows en FLCL y, por supuesto, música de The Blue Hearts, ¡fue muy divertido! Sin embargo, los tiempos cambian, y francamente ahora no estoy en mi mejor forma... no porque no tenga qué subitular, sino todo lo contrario. ¿Recuerdan ese episodio de SZS donde hablan de las obligaciones autoimpuestas? Me siento un poco así; nadie me exigía ir tan lejos con los videos, ni editar tantas horas, ni clavarme con detalles minúsculos... todo me lo impuse yo por puro amor al arte. Sin darme cuenta, con el pasar de los años empecé a ser muy estricto conmigo mismo, al grado de ahora tener +60 proyectos "abiertos" por no cumplir con mis expectativas. Por mi afán de querer hacer las cosas perfectas, el hacer videos dejó de ser tan divertido como antes, y se volvió estresante. Y esta situación no es nada nueva; en retrospectiva, creo que la encuesta que hice hace 3 años en el canal y la sección de "TV Size" en el grupo de Facebook eran indicios de la fatiga que estaba sintiendo por la edición exhaustiva de video para los AMV, que me llevaba muchísimo tiempo completar (hay muchos videos que tienen hasta 5 versiones distintas porque no me convencían). Me encanta subtitular música, es algo que me apasiona, y no me arrepiento de nada que haya hecho en estos años, es sólo que la situación se me fue un poco de las manos, el hobby me consumió demasiado, acabé un poco quemado y necesito un respiro. Sin más, me despido. No sé cuándo, pero volveré, seguramente con muchas ganas de terminar un montón de proyectos (incluyendo el Kakurenboka Onigokkoyo, por ejemplo) y con un modelo de trabajo más sano (espero XD). Por ahora me concentraré en otras cosas, incluyendo mi más grande pasión: el estudio del idioma japonés, así que esperen más y mejores traducciones de canciones a mi regreso ;)) Muchísimas gracias por todo su apoyo, seguimiento y cariño desde 2017, lo aprecio como no tienen idea. Sólo la música podría haber unido a tanta y tan magnifica gente en este pequeño rincón del internet. Without realizing it, over the years I started to be very strict with myself, to the point of now having +60 "open" projects for not meeting my expectations. Because of my desire to make things perfect, making videos stopped being as fun as it used to be, and became stressful. And this situation is nothing new; in retrospect, I think the survey I did 3 years ago on the channel and the "TV Size" section in the Facebook group were indications of the fatigue I was feeling from the exhaustive video editing for the AMVs, which took me a very long time to complete (there are many videos that have up to 5 different versions because I was not convinced). I love subtitling music, it's something I'm passionate about, and I don't regret anything I've done over the years, it's just that the situation got a bit out of hand, the hobby consumed me too much, I ended up a bit burnt out and now I need a break. Without further ado, I say goodbye. I don't know when, but I'll be back, probably with great enthusiasm to finish a lot of projects (including Kakurenboka Onigokkoyo, for example) and with a healthier working model (I hope XD).
