Welcome back to Movie Masters! Today, we're embarking on a distance test of the DJI Air 3 to push its limits and see just how far it can go before losing transmission or running out of battery. I've chosen a familiar testing ground, similar to where I've tested the Mini 3 Pro in the past. Support the Channel! Thank you for your support! To ensure an accurate test, I'll be maintaining a straight-line flight path, a tip for maximizing distance. After updating the home point and setting the drone to a height of around 30 meters, it's time to launch. In this test, I've opted for sports mode for a quicker journey, although it tends to drain the battery faster. Flying over forests and mangroves at a steady 19 miles per hour, I quickly reach the 1100-meter mark, pushing onward with cautious optimism. Despite some initial signal loss around 1500 meters, the connection resumes, allowing me to continue the journey. As I approach 3000 meters, the weak signal indicators persist, but the drone soldiers on, reaching a record-breaking 3850 meters. Switching back to normal mode for the return journey, I observe the battery level at 52% and two bars of signal strength. However, shortly after hitting the 4000-meter milestone, the connection weakens, prompting the drone to initiate its return to home protocol. With relief, the drone safely returns, having completed the impressive 4000-meter flight with battery to spare. Reflecting on the test, I note the importance of flying in a straight line for maximum range. Support the Channel!
