Gliding during the Australian nationals in Narromine, March 2022. I had some great flying despite how late it was in the season and the influence of La Niña. Due to no prior gliding competition experience I was unable to participate, however I would generally fly similar tasks to the club class in the Discus B VH-GFV. My flights are on www.weglide.org/user/9247: A short familiarisation flight among showers Flying the club AAT task but having to start over an hour late A declared 300km FAI (overflying to maximize the day) A 200km task at ~100km/h cross country speed A 300km task at ~100km/h cross country speed A 300km flight ending with a thunderstorm - making up most of this video from @4:30 Thanks to Matthew Scutter (skylight.io) for suggesting I come down, sorting out a car for me, and providing the extra storm photos (and congrats for a comprehensive win).
