It came out on August 5, 2008, through their own record label, Nappy Roots Entertainment Group, with help from Fontana Distribution. They recorded the album at Treesound Studios in Atlanta and at the Kitchen Studios. Different people helped make the music, like Sol Messiah, James "Groove" Chambers, and others.
