Welcoming back the G1X FOUR with an overview of how to get a METALLICA style tone! This video shows you the exact setting you will need to plug into your ZOOM G1X FOUR or G1X (or similar ZOOM pedal) to get this tone. It isn't spot on Metallica, but pretty close, and with some minor tweaking you are there! Note that I am not using ToneLab but that should be something I explore. This is JAMES HETFIELD inspired! Please note that I am just loosely basing my playing off of some Metallica songs - James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett vibes, don't grill me for how inaccurate I am haha! Just trying to display the pedal sound and a Metallica style tone :) Some people have asked me how I get my tone and sounds, and here it is! For me, at this stage, they all come through this pedal, and I run it through Ableton Live Lite (free version). I have programmed in Slash, Gary Moore, Steve Vai, and an Acoustic tone of which I will be sharing, including some Slash Wah and crazy delay if you are interested. More to come :) suggestions? Here is a brief description from Rock Shop NZ: The Zoom G1X FOUR features over 70 effects and amp models, looper and drum machine. Plus, access ZOOM Guitar Lab’s additional library of downloadable effects. Plug in and be amazed! That highlights what this pedal has to offer! I didn't play with the drums or looper, and I haven't even tried the Guitar Lab for some reason. This is a budget pedal, 200NZD, 150USD, 100GBP (roughly) which isn't bad at all. I certainly don't need anything more. Maybe a looper than lasts more than 30 seconds but that has always been long enough for me. No... I know what you're thinking... I didn't say 20 seconds! Played on my Epiphone Les Paul Custom (Korea, 2000) fitted with some Seymour Duncan's. Hope you enjoy! Peace and love! #guitarist #pedal #review #guitar
