With the Winter Olympics just around the corner, our students, faculty, staff—and yes, even The Duck—came together for a lighthearted moment that captures the spirit of teamwork and Duck pride. While the video showcases our playful Duck spirit, it also highlights the University of Oregon and the Lundquist College of Business as the home of one of only three officially recognized Olympic Studies Research Centres in the United States. We’re also excited to share a few other notable updates worth celebrating: • Entrepreneurship and innovation: Student entrepreneurship continues to thrive as our Oregon Innovation Challenge attracted another record-setting year of student founders developing real-world solutions and launching new ventures. • Growing student interest: We welcomed our largest and most academically accomplished first-year business students this fall, representing a 15 percent increase in enrollment. • Leadership in AI: Lundquist is emerging as a national leader in AI education, with students building innovative AI solutions and learning from faculty who lead research on AI business agents and decision-making. • Ranking up: The college made a significant jump in U.S. News & World Report undergraduate business program rankings for 2026, placing #41 among all business schools and #26 among public business schools nationally. Thank you for helping to propel us down the slopes, hit our mark with precision, and score a perfect 10. You keep the torch burning bright as we expand opportunities, advance knowledge, and shape the next generation of business leaders.
