Sara G. Davis, M.A. CCC-SLP, provides an overview of vocal fold mobility impairment, specifically vocal fold paralysis and vocal fold paresis. She also reviews symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and research. ABOUT OUR SPEAKER Sara G. Davis, M.A. CCC-SLP, is a nationally accredited and state-licensed speech pathologist specializing in voice, upper airway, and swallowing with years of experience in the otolaryngology (ENT) clinic setting. She currently works at AOC Physicians, which is a laryngology and otolaryngology private practice in Arizona. She also owns a small business (VOXFIT®) which she developed based on one of her research studies; it aims to improve the voices and lives of occupational voice users and provide education to the greater voice community as well. Sara works with patients in the clinic (providing videostroboscopy, FEES, and related evaluations and therapy), as well as VOXFIT® clients individually to provide voice coaching, vocal training, and/or voice therapy depending on the needs of the client. Sara also provides interactive group seminars to studios, companies, and/or other groups to provide vocal training, voice coaching, and/or voice therapy tailored to the needs of the group. Sara works very closely with the Dysphonia International Valley of Sun Dysphonia Support Group.
