Synopsis: This original Star Wars story follows two friends who get their hands on real lightsabers, which are outlawed by the government. It's been a LONG time in the making. I grew up watching Star Wars fan films, and I wanted to pay homage to ones like RYAN VS DORKMAN, low budget fan films that had a cool story and killer action. I was also inspired by HARAKIRI, which featured an incredible, slow-paced duel in the wind. The middle part of the fan film is where I took that inspiration and implemented it. I started this journey back in November 2020, when the idea came to me. In February, I finished the script. By the end of March, we completed principle photography. Since then, I've been editing. Post production lasted 233 days. Incredible, right? Over 300 hours of going frame by frame, animated the lightsaber VFX. It has been one of, if not THE most, mentally draining things I've ever done in my life. But it was worth it. I'm so happy and proud of the work I've put into this fan film. There's a couple specific people I'd like to thank for helping me through this editing process and keeping me sane: My mom, dad, Mema, little cousins, aunt, uncle, Andrew, Hekla, Ava, Maddy, Hannah, Remi, Josh, Chris, Bri, Carlos, Cora, Colin, Rob, Tricia, Kendall, Luke, and ALL of my friends and family.
