Earth, Wind & Fire (recently chosen as one of the honorees at the 2019 Kennedy Center Honors) performed a concert in NYC on The Early Show on July 16, 2003. They performed 3 songs: "All In The Way", their first single from their then new 2003 album "The Promise". They also performed their classic hits "September" and "Boogie Wonderland". Hannah Storm, a news anchor on The Early Show, also interviewed the group. Maurice White, Verdine White, Philip Bailey and Ralph Johnson were present. The Early Show anchors present: Rene Syler, Hannah Storm, and Russ Mitchell. Rest in Peace Maurice White 1941 - 2016 Rest in Peace Allee Willis 1947 - 2019 Allee Willis was a songwriter for 2 of the songs from this concert: "September" and "Boogie Wonderland". She also wrote the "Friends" theme song show opening.
