The gynecoid pelvis, the most common and ideal for birth, is round, wide, and shallow, facilitating easy vaginal delivery. The android pelvis, a male-type shape, is heart-shaped and narrow, which can m vake labor difficult, often leading to interventions like C-sections. The anthropoid pelvis is oval and deep, allowing for vaginal delivery but sometimes causing back labor if the baby needs to rotate into an occiput posterior position.
