The first non-marking tires we made were white. By 2006, our white tires had reached the limits of performance. Continuing our relentless quest to offer solutions at the lowest operating cost that satisfy the industry's most stringent requirements, our engineers rolled up their sleeves to solve the problem. We have developed non-marking tires made entirely from natural rubber. Their grey color comes from 0.1% black carbon added to our rubber compound to stabilize its color (the white color of natural rubber and the black color of black carbon give the grey color).
