Building a DIY 100W COB LED Light (Over 10,000 Lumens)

Welcome to Keon's Lab! In my last video testing out COB LEDs I promised I'd get a Lens and Heatsink for them, so in this video I'll assemble and test out a COB LED heatsink, fan and lens kit I found on AliExpress! I'll be using a 30V DC, 100W COB LED module capable of producing up to ~12,000 Lumens of light! I can't know the exact value for sure until I either make or get a LUX meter, so while I am just going off of the info provided on the product data page, the intensity of light this thing puts out is so high that I'm inclined to believe that it's definitely somewhere around the 10,000 Lumen range, if not higher. The COB is advertised to produce 90 to 120 Lumens per Watt, so at 100 Watts that'd be a minimum of 9000 Lumens and a maximum of 12,000 Lumens, now that's a LOT of Lumens! In this video I'll also attach a DC-DC step down module to drive the 12V fan in parallel with the 31V DC input driving the COB for the convenience of only requiring one 31V DC input to power both the COB and the Fan.
