First off, apologies for my colorful language, but this idiot warranted it! I was behind this idiot, yesterday, for several miles on the Rasharkin line, heading towards Ballymena. What you can't initially see is there was a jeep and trailer in front of the school bus. I only caught his final act of stupidity as I didn't hit the record button quick enough. As a result, what the footage doesn't show was him swerving out aggressively (several times!) to see if the road was clear ahead for him to overtake, forcing oncoming drivers to swerve out of his way. He also attempted an overtake of the bus, which he had to abort due to an oncoming car.  On the approach to the crossroads, the bus slowed down, so obviously the jeep in front of the bus was going to turn at the crossroads...a fact completely lost on this idiot, who decided this was his opportunity to overtake! Fortunately, the bus driver was aware of what was going on, and he indicated right, and moved over to the right slightly, forcing the 106 driver to abort his overtake....just as the jeep and trailer turned right, as I had anticipated. The bus driver is to be praised for his quick thinking, for it almost certainly stopped an accident happening. Had he not done so, the 106 driver would have smashed into the side of the jeep and trailer as it turned right. This idiot is a very lucky man and, once again, kudos to the bus driver.
