Track 6 Homage to Ellwood

It amazes me that one of the first tracks I created for the album, honestly took the longest to create the right video I had in my mind.. Because this instrumental incorporates so many things, and is a tribute to the greatest drummer ever in Neil Peart. The intro is actually ME! Way back to my audition casette tapes for the Berklee College of Music and CalArts, where I attended the later. I moved those tracks of my original drum solo from casette tapes, to 16 track, to 32 track, cleaning them up as I went into the DIGITAL MAN age onto CD, and then external USB hard drive, to now... SO, what better way to say THANK YOU to Neil Peart for teaching me about drumming, percussion, life, adjustments, timing, control, stamina and those rhythm techniques which came in extremely handy in my dating years. :) BUT, I needed to pay homage to NEIL, not to me, so, how do I do THAT to a legend of a life in a 3-4 minute song? I simply envisioned WHAT Neil Peart's life would have entailed from a drumming point of view (not his family, not going there), and where he would have travelled to and things he might have done in his 70s and 80s, IF he had lived.. And I think this freaking nails it perfectly, because the visual effects and scenery of THE WORLD with DRUMS by NEIL ELLWOOD PEART is what I sought, and this is the final 4KHD video to go to Blu-Ray disc this fall..
