I starting off with freshly washed, deep conditioned, and stretched natural hair. I find that if I don't stretch my hair overnight, it is nearly impossible to style my 4c natural hair into a protective hairstyle. I chose to stretch my hair using two strand twists because it's less time consuming and they leave your hair with a fun textured look. That textured look really enhanced my Mohawk Bun Updo. I always set my hair using Oyin handmade's whipped pudding and 100% extra virgin olive oil regardless of which method I use to stretch my hair. Once I began to style my hair I used: Olive Miracle Moisturizing Hair Lotion, Ampro Prostyler gel, and 100% extra virgin olive oil. This mix of products leaves my hair very moisturized, somewhat sleek and shiny.
