90+ Years Of The Diesel Gala - Middleton Railway 2023.

A short video recording the Middleton Railway's "90+ Years of the Diesel Gala." The gala was on the 10th and 11th of June 2023, my video covering the 11th of June 2023. I am a volunteer at the Middleton Railway, and was volunteering on this day, so I was unable to record tons of footage as I had to carry out my duties. Hopefully this won't disappoint though! The locos in action during the event were: Hunslet 1786 "Courage" (also known as "Sweet Pea") - responsible for brake van rides. Hunslet 1697 "John Alcock" - the black diesel pulling the train. Kerr Stuart 4421 "Rom River" - visiting from the Foxfield Railway and was also responsible for pulling the train. Hudswell Clarke 577 "Mary" - Carrol's sister. Sounds a bit like a BR Class 20 in my opinion. Was also responsible for pulling the train. After a slight mishap on one of the earlier trains on Sunday (I can't remember the time) the loco continued to run faultlessly for the rest of the event. Hudswell Clarke D631 "Carrol" - Mary's sister. Was also responsible for pulling the train. Unfortunately, Carrol broke down on Saturday and was unable to run on Sunday. MD&HB No. 45 - Not part of the actual event but performed essential shunting duties that made the event possible.
