A day trip in Switzerland by train & steam paddle ship - Steinhausen to Interlaken, 4K

A perfect day! We boarded a train in the small town of Steinhausen headed for a train trip. Little did we know it was going to be a fantastic day. We boarded the meter gauge cog wheel train, the Die Zentralbahn, which took us over Brünig Pass. It pulled into Brienz station right at the time the Lötschberg steam paddle ship was getting to leave. Timing was perfect... we bolted off the train and hopped on the ship just minutes before it left shore. Our journey on the Lötschberg was so memorable, sailing on Lake Brienz and stopping in small villages before reaching the final destination of Interlaken. We spent a couple hours in Interlaken, had a wonderful cheese fondue dinner and started our journey back to our B&B in Steinhausen. Hope you join us on this epic trip!
