I taking a look at Nutri_Rich fertilizer for my garden this year. I have no reason to think it should work and work just fine. If your using good compost you're not going to need super high potency fertilizers. We need to reduce runoff where we can. If a less potent but effective fertilizer does the trick then that's what I'm going to use. I've been using a 4-2-2 of the last few years with great results. I resided to give this a try because of the great price. $14 for 50lbs at my local plant nursery. I will share the results as the summer progresses. Like all organic fertilizers they work best in beds that are well established. Organic fertilizers require a great deal of soil life to process them into something your plants can use. Organic beds are artificial ecosystems that take time for the soil life needed to make them work to move in. If your having problem with your new bed you're going to need a water soluble fertilizer to get you over the hump.
