Wyoming is one of the largest states by area but one of the least densely populated. Capital of Wyoming The capital of Wyoming is called Cheyenne. Cheyenne is located in the southeast of the state. It was founded in 1867 and is also the largest city in Wyoming. Many events take place in Cheyenne that are part of the region’s culture. Landscape and Nature Wyoming is known for its diverse landscape. There are high mountains, large plains, and deep valleys. The state has many national parks and nature reserves. The nature in Wyoming is very pristine and often untouched. Climate in Wyoming The climate in Wyoming is mostly dry and cold. In winter, it can get very cold with heavy snowfall. Summers are mostly warm but not too hot. The weather can change quickly in the mountains. Economy in Wyoming Wyoming’s economy mainly relies on agriculture and mining.
