Bring Your Own Class 2.0 with not survival, Malefactor monsters, and the Lexicon Map Pack (Pizza Steve mapset) - Dot Indie Pizza Games edition. .Indie Gal Is one of the new characters in BYOC 2.0. Her gimmick is that she only has her fist weapons until she builds one of two meters that gives her a random weapon based off a random indie game. Gathering weapons does not give you new weapons, but instead more ammo when you get the weapon. Interesting concept for a character. The second meter lets you power your character up depending on how much of the meter is filled, but I find its not too useful unless you fill it all the way for the rapid fire fists. I can't look at .Indie Gal's fists and not think of Megas from MegasXLR and her legs/hips look like season 2 Drossil Von Flugel from Disney's Fireball. Overall decent character, but sadly I don't recognize most of the indie titles featured in the weapon list. It doesn't help that the GUI covers the weapon cover so I cannot see the full icon on the little screen, nor can I usually fully hear the name of the indie game over the noise chaos in a typical BYOC game. Comparatively to Bob and bob, I would say that the temp weapon gimmick works much better for .Indie Gal than Bob and bob - Gal's weapons are much more varied and a vast majority do good damage or have good utility even if a decent amount are just straight laser blasts and her power meter is much stronger than Bob and bob's power meter even if the Bobs can use theirs much more often. Bring Your Own Class (or BYOC for short) is a class mod for Zandronum (multiplayer-centric sourceport of DooM) that contains a bunch of characters from a variety of media and also some original characters.
