Today I walk through old parts of Kathmandu watching the city come to life as locals visit their temples, porters heave huge loads down the street, sellers set up their stands, as the chaos of Kathmandu comes to life. I chat with a lovely young lady who sells spices and admits to not wanting to be married, I have another conversation with man who sells ancient fossils and wooden masks, I buy some bananas for my banana index, and return to a mural which I took a photo of back in 2019. I also try a sweet ball of desert goodness being sold buy a lady on the street. Kathmandu is a crazy, insanely chaotic place.
