This video simulates the Rocky Infotainment System (RIS) v2.1.2 Dynamic Route Map Display (DRMD) on a ride from Bright Hill to Caldecott stations on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) Stage 2, set to open by Q3 2021. Provisions are included in the map (right side) for the future extension of TEL to Tanah Merah. The TEL stage 2 was handed over to SMRT on 30th April 2021.Get a sneak peek/listen of what will it be like on a train travelling from Upper Thomson to Caldecott stations (with an easter egg at the end)! DISCLAIMER: This is NOT the actual DRMD system found on the TEL trains. This is just a CONCEPT inspired by the new MRT signage system.
