This video breaks down the spelling pattern of 1+1+1 words. When a word has 1 syllable, 1 short vowel, and 1 final consonant sound, we use -tch to spell the /ch/ sound and -dge to spell the /j/ sound. Students will learn to decode and spell words with these patterns!
