Juuni Jumon is Danmakufu game made by puremrz (who made Koishi hell 1 & 2) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- puremrz's description: Juuni Jumon is a non-Touhou game made with Danmakufu. But it looks, feels and plays like any typical Touhou game. There are 6 stages, 2 extra stages, and there's spellcard practise because I know everyone wants that. The cast are all original characters of mine, which I've been wanting to make a game with for a long time. But since a visual novel isn't my cup of tea, and I like Touhou, this was born. All character art and sprites, and most backgrounds are made by me. The only thing lacking is music. For now there's a temporary set of music that goes well with the game, but I'd like to replace those with custom music. I already have some people helping, but anyone is free to contribute. The story is simple, the main characters Masahiro (player), and Tomoko (childhood friend) plus all the other 14+1 characters are on a summer vacation, and the game starts when they decide to hike in the mountains one day, but get rather lost. The real story develops as the game progresses through the stages, so writing anything more would be a spoiler. (and my video ruined some spoiler) You have 5 player types (elements) at your disposal, each with their own good and bad points. It's possible to switch in-game (you're urged to in the extra stages) at the cost of 10 power. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't own any credit from this description, I'm simply copy paste it from MoTK, all credit belong to puremrz who made this game. This is my 3rd attemp playing Juuni Jumon, and yeah, it's quite bad gameplay, and not 1cc (gameover at mid boss stage 6) Sorry about vid quality, vdub didn't friendly with colour text so it's unreadable. Oh yeah, you'll find I'm pausing a bit in this vid, my cat trolling me, blocking my vision twice. My opinion? This game has a good story (especially at the end), nice and long gameplay, and beautiful danmaku. I've cleared this at my 5th attemp, but when I saw my clear replay, somehow it messed up, the result all my lives gone at very beginning. Interested playing this game? Want to know the storyline?
