7:16 In quite a lucky find, I got to see retired TheBus Unit 847, a 2002 Gillig Phantom, parked at Honolulu Stadium State Park in it's new role for C.O.R.E, of which it began its service for in September 2024 (and while riding a bus that will soon be joining it in retirement). Primarily targeted for the homeless, this bus can be used to transport up to 29 people who are given support in the bus before they are taken into a medical care facility. Apparently 847 had been in EMS' hands for 10 years for mass casualty evenets before being used for C.O.R.E. Can't tell if it still uses it's original Voith, but it'd be cool if it does. Between 847 and one 2003 Phantom said to be preserved by OTS for community events, I'm happy to see that the Phantoms are still going to be a part of Oahu's roads for a little longer after their service for TheBus. Honolulu TheBus Route 6 Eastbound - Manoa Marketplace via U.H. Manoa on 2004 Gillig Advantage, Bus 535. Video shows stops from Kona St. & Keeaumoku St. to University Ave. & King St. Route 6 is a local service route between Pauoa Valley and Woodlawn Drive in East Manoa and is one of the routes that connect to UH Manoa along with Routes A and 4, also from Downtown, and 13 from Waikiki. Route 6 is useful to connect to a wide variety of routes in the system, such as Routes 1 and 2 on King St., and many others in Downtown and Ala Moana. In U.H. Manoa, Route 6 toward Manoa will run on the opposite road of Westbound Route 13 through it's path in U.H.'s campus, except during morning, late evening, or Sunday hours, where it will stay on University Ave. into Oahu Ave. Notable areas covered by this route are: Pauoa Valley, Downtown Honolulu, Ward Center, Ala Moana Center, King Street, U.H. Manoa, Manoa Marketplace, East Manoa Road, and Kolowalu Trail. #TheBus #Honolulu #Hawaii #Oahu #Bus #PublicTransportation
