A tragic accident occurred at the Surajkund International Crafts Mela in Faridabad, Haryana, on the evening of February 7, when an amusement ride collapsed while in motion. According to reports, one police inspector lost his life and around 13 people were injured. The injured were admitted to nearby hospitals and are receiving treatment. Officials, including DCP NIT Maqsood Ahmed and DC Ayush Sinha, reached the spot and assured strict action against those responsible. Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini expressed grief over the incident.
