Kadai Paneer Recipe (Restaurant-Style) A spicy, flavorful North Indian curry made with paneer, capsicum, onions, and freshly ground spices. 📝 Ingredients (Serves 3–4) For fresh kadai masala: 1½ tbsp coriander seeds 2–3 dried red chilies ½ tsp cumin seeds For the gravy: 250g paneer (cubed) 1 large onion (petals or sliced) 1 capsicum (sliced) 2 medium tomatoes (pureed) 1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chili powder ½–1 tsp garam masala 2 tbsp oil or butter 2–3 tbsp fresh cream (optional, for creamy version) Salt to taste Fresh coriander leaves (for garnish) 👩🍳 Method Make kadai masala: Dry roast coriander seeds, red chilies, and cumin until aromatic. Cool and grind coarsely (don’t make it too fine). Sauté base: Heat oil in a kadai or pan. Add onions and sauté until slightly golden. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute. Cook tomato gravy: Add tomato puree, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until oil separates (5–7 minutes). Add vegetables: Add capsicum and cook 2–3 minutes (keep slightly crunchy). Add paneer & spices: Add paneer cubes and freshly ground kadai masala. Mix gently. Sprinkle garam masala and simmer 2–3 minutes. Finish (optional creamy touch): Add cream and mix. Turn off heat.
