Planned on going over to Langsett and then back to Ladybower but due to awful weather, mud that was like glue and a freezing gale it was decided that we would turn back at Howden Edge. Wize choice Howden Edge was covered in clouds and bits of snow. Tip - don't throw snowballs around at the first site of snow this year otherwise your fingers will feel like they are about to fall off. Onlt the second time I've ever done this descent and the slippy conditions and lack of a back brake (pads gave up the ghost)didn't make it any easier. In front and just as wet and cold is Jim Robo. Didn't put the bit down to the top of Ladybower on at the end as the mud was that bad you couldn't keep up a decent speed to make it viewable.
