Mix the remaining ingredients except for the food colouring powder in a blender and add the melted butter into it. Blend until all the ingredients are combined and have a texture that is cake batter like. Now the batter is ready to be put into molds. First, Heat up the oven at 160 degrees and then scrape the batter on the molds. Make sure there is no batter on the sides of the molds, otherwise the batter will get stuck on the leaves. Scrape it a couple of times to make sure it is divided well over the molds. Bake the leaves for 4 minutes until they achieve a light golden colour. The leaves will get crispy within 30 seconds, so make sure you have the brush and food colouring ready. Powder the leaves Powder the leaves and “tweeze ” out carefully immediately after the leaves are dusted. Be careful since the leaves are very hot. To add a nice shape, let the leaves rest on some tin foil. The autumn leaf tuiles are now ready to decorate a lovely dish.
