The throttle has a somewhat long throw for me, especially on a bike that is so hard to get away from itself. This bike is not likely to do burn out, or stand on end by accident. I decided that with a little ingenuity and I could make it behave how I wished. I did attempt to compare the Ninja 250 throttle tube against a Yahama R6 throttle tube as a lot of the SV650 owners replace theirs with do, but this throttle tube turns out to have the same outside diameter on the drum.
