Today we honor God’s rest, as Exodus 20:8–10 (KJV) reminds us, “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy… the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God…” As we worship, we rejoice in His goodness through Psalm 92:1–2 (KJV), “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O most High,” and we find peace in Isaiah 58:13–14 (KJV), which calls us to delight in the Sabbath and promises that the Lord will cause us to “ride upon the high places of the earth.” Whether you're joining us for the first time or you're part of the Mount Zion family, we welcome you.
