This video was filmed on my road trip or bike ride to Spiti Valley in August 2016. Between the Indian landmass and Tibet lies a magical valley in the Himalayas. It’s not easy to reach this place; the roads are treacherous and open only for a few months during the year. As soon as I went past the Rohtang and Kunzum passes the world transformed in an instant. I was greeted by another realm - yes, it was another planet in a galaxy far away. Nature has played it’s best innings here. I saw a complete rainbow of mountains and the rivers flowing out of them. And then when I sat down in the monasteries, it made me wonder how they have seen more than a thousand winters and how will the generation a thousand years down the line sit down and wonder about us.
