Gaming on the likes of Wuthering Waves is a superb experience, while that large internal display is a great way to enjoy comics or multi-task on the move. However, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 still lags behind rivals in a couple of ways. I prefer the Open Canvas method of multi-tasking, while the Samsung Fold 7 struggles to serve up a full day of battery life. That capacity hasn't increased at all, so I was scraping the dregs on a number of days before heading to bed. That's where the Honor Magic V5 and Vivo Fold X5 certainly win. Likewise, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 charges slowly and OneUI 8 isn't quite as lovable as ColorOS. And while the camera tech is pretty good, that heavy processing does impact snaps.
